|  | | EM Quant Test Strips incorporate proven classical organic and inorganic reaction mechanisms. Each plastic strip has a reaction pad (or series of pads) containing the necessary detection reagents, buffers, masking agents, and stabilizers. These strips have been extensively evaluated under a multitude of influences from other salts and ions, and have performed as expected every time. | | For most of the test strips and applications, pretreatment is unnecessary when other ionic species are less than 1000ppm. Appropriate dilution procedures can be used to test solutions with concentrations above the upper range of the test strip. The product insert sheet provides easy-to-follow instructions for the removal of potential interferences. The strip containers are sturdy aluminum cylinders labeled with the test instructions, color comparison scale, and expiration date. Silica is contained inside the tube cap to maintain a dry environment and maximize shelf life. |
